Toilet Causes Water Damage

Pipe in the upstairs master bathroom burst affecting all three levels. The bathroom has vinyl tile flooring, and the master bedroom has carpet; these are both on the top level. Water leaked from here through the light fixtures to the main level kitchen with vinyl plank flooring. There was water leaking into the basement with carpet, which raises the risk of microbial growth. Supply line leak in 2nd-floor master bathroom affecting bathroom, traveling along adjacent master bedroom wall and carpet and into a small area of hallway carpeting. Water traveling through the kitchen/living room ceiling, LVP flooring and finally made its way through the basement office and office closet ceiling with minimum damage to the carpet affected. Luckily in the master bathroom/bedroom and hallway, we found all materials in good condition, and all of this equipment was removed.
