SERVPRO of East Independence/Blue Springs takes great pride in being a part of the East Independence/Blue Springs community. We understand that communities like ours hold America together. Events in 2012: Saturday May 12th, 2012- Hunting for Heroes Trap Shoot Hunting for Heroes (H4H) is a 501(c)3 organization that provides recreational therapy and counseling for law enforcement officers severely injured in the line of duty. Founded in 2010 by two active duty law enforcement officers, H4H reaches out to officers across the country to connect them with other officers who have sustained life altering injuries. Saturday June 2nd, 2012- Guns N' Hoses Local Firefighter and Police join Worth Harley Davidson presented checks to 2 very deserving families. This year, the proceeds benefited,The Rawley's and the Barenklau's, both families experience and overcoming cancer and other medical hardships. Friday June 8th, 2012- Farmers Golf Tournament The Great 38 and district manager Tom Angier host this years golf tournament at Eagle's Landing, proceeds going to March of Dimes! Saturday June 9th, 2012- Blue Springs Church Annual Golf Tournament The Blue SPrings Church hosts their annual golf tourney at Hoot's Hollow, proceeds benefiting the Blue Springs Church Pantry. Saturday June 16th, 2012 FIREFEST 2012 The Independence 76 Fire Company hosted the annual Firefest 2012 with Classic Cars, Trucks, Tractor Show Fire Truck Rides, Muster Games, Door Prizes, Water Displays, Raffles, Kids Games, demos from K9 unit police dept and more; creating awareness and preparation for the community!
